A national group has honored Wood Technology faculty Doug Hague and Charlie Phillips for their efforts in the classroom.
The Wood Machinery Industry Association singled out Hague and Phillips at the Wood Industry Conference in San Antonio, Texas, with its 2015 Educator of the Year Award, which is given annually to faculty within an educational institution or company with a structured curriculum tailored to training individuals for careers in the woodworking industry.
According to the Woodworking Network, Hague and Phillips were honored for conducting the Boot Camp session at the Wood Technology Industry Institute, which took place at PSU’s Kansas Technology Center.
